A new and improved Maritime Safety Information service has been introduced, with an improved user experience to provide faster access to the latest safety-critical navigational information.

Features of the new service include:

Body
  • New user-friendly interface. The service has been redesigned to improve usability and is now responsive across desktop, mobile and tablet devices.

  • Low bandwidth by default. New light-weight design ensures that users can access safety-critical information quickly. Single Sign On functionality introduced so the same username and password will access all ADMIRALTY services.

  • New sub domain. To access all Maritime Safety Information please visit msi.admiralty.co.uk. All existing URLs will redirect to the new service.

  • Improved RNW print functionality. A new print functionality built to make it easier to read Radio Navigational Warnings.

Temporary access to Notice to Mariners tracing files

Body

Once the new service launches Notice to Mariners tracing files will temporarily be unavailable in their usual location on the Notice to Mariners page, instead files can be obtained via the Distributors FTP.

Body

We expect this temporary workaround to be in place until end of July 2022, after which they will once again be available as a download from the Notice to Mariners section of the Maritime Safety Information pages on the ADMIRALTY website. We appreciate your patience whilst we bring these improvements to the service.

If you require assistance or have any feedback during this time please contact Customer Services via email, customerservices@ukho.gov.uk.
