What does a UKHO apprenticeship offer?
Our apprenticeship scheme offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in the workplace as a paid employee, all while studying towards an industry-recognised qualification. Our apprentices are supported along their learning journey to enhance their skills and further their career development.
Over the years, we have continued to improve and expand our apprenticeship offering. Today, we offer roles across a wide variety of subjects, from specialist subjects like business administration and data analysis, to leadership and management qualifications. Our apprenticeships are similarly varied in qualification level - ranging from Level 2 (GCSE equivalent) to Level 7 (Master's Degree).

The UKHO apprenticeship scheme can help you to develop skills under the mentorship of internal experts while furthering your education and gaining a formal qualification at the same time.
What does an apprenticeship offer?
As an organisation, we recognise the value of the apprenticeship scheme; not only can we bring new talent and fresh ideas into the business, but it also allows us to retrain and upskill existing members of the team, too.
Since embracing the scheme back in 2016, we have supported hundreds of apprentices across multiple disciplines including technology, finance and communications, in reaching their potential and developing in their careers. This has led us to winning awards within the South West region, as well as gaining wider recognition at a national level through the National Apprenticeship Awards.
